GROUPS
- The last day for compliance in in July
will be Tuesday, July 24th. Billing changes will be in effect
on Saturday, July 28th.
SPECIAL WOMEN’S GROUP - Wednesday, July 11th at 9 a.m.
Drums are used in every culture and loved for their similarity
to the human heartbeat. We will meet in the ITS building
for a special Drum Meditation and Drum Class. Have fun and
get in touch with your inner child. Bring drums, rattles,
tambourines, rain sticks or other percussion noisemakers
for this special group.
NEW WOMEN’S GROUP to start July 11th. Beginning in
July, there will be 2 women’s groups. The “Advanced
Women’s Group” will continue to meet on Wednesdays
at 9 am in the large group room. This group will be for women
who have been regularly attending women’s group for
at least 6 months and are in Phase III or above. The “Women’s
Group” will be held on Thursdays at 9 am in the ITS
building and will be for women who are in Phase I or II.
Check with your counselor if you are unsure about which group
is appropriate for you.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
v The front office phone is for EMERGENCY
calls only. Do not ask to make personal calls from this phone.
v You MUST have exact change at late dosing or you may not
be able to dose. Change is not always on hand.
v Staff meetings are held on Mondays and counselors are not
available to take calls during these meetings.
WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST STAFF MEMBERS – Jacqueline Pharr
and Ronnie Bertram are joining Walker Recovery as new counselors.
They have been assigned clients and will be seeing them starting
Monday, July 16th. Call your new counselor and get acquainted!

Dr. Camp is in the clinic on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
and on Wednesdays. You have the month your physical is due
to come in to see Dr. Camp. Also schedule an appointment
with your counselor to update all annual paperwork.
All physicals are held at Walker Recovery Center. Check with
your counselor to make sure your physical is not past due
from a previous month to avoid a possible dose reduction
or loss of take- homes.
