January 2007 Group Schedule

Ask your counselor for a group schedule and which groups are appropriate for your phase in treatment. Remember some groups are held in the old pharmacy building at the same time as those in the group room.
***********************************
Last day for compliance in January will be Tuesday, January 23. Billing changes will be turned into the business office on Wednesday and will be effective on Saturday, January 27.
*******************************
Clients- Before you leave the hospital:
* Get the doctor to sign your discharge papers.
* Have him list any and all medications you have been given while in the hospital as well as any prescriptions you were given.
* Be sure that he lists when you were dosed with methadone and how much you were given.
* Present this paper to the dosing nurse when you return to the clinic. This will save you lots of time when you return to dosing.
DO NOT CALL
the Answering Service after 4 p.m. unless it is an emergency, especially to ask about dosing hours! Our hours are posted in several areas around the clinic

Diversion Control -
Medication Call Back

Take home clients –
(1) It is your responsibility to have a current release and contact phone number in the computer for diversion control. This number must be the one that is okay for the nurse to identify as calling from Walker Recovery Center and /or leave a message.
(2) NO BLOCKED NUMBERS.
(3) You have 24 hrs to bring in your take homes.
(4) DO NOT remove the sleeve until the day you are supposed to take that dose.
(5) Notify your counselor if you are going to be out of town or unable to be reached.
Failure to comply with diversion control may result in loss of take homes.
***********************************
ALL CLIENTS: If you know you are going to the doctor and think you may get a prescription, please take a medication verification sheet with you for the doctor to fill out at the time of your visit. Return this sheet to the clinic to avoid delays in verifying your prescriptions.
******************************

THANK YOU to all who generously donated to the Humane Shelter Community Service Project.

NOTE: Take notice of the Price List for tests and toxicology confirmations posted in the front office and dosing areas.

Dr. Camp is in the clinic on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and on Wednesdays. Make appointments with the front office for your physical and to see your counselor. You have the month your physical is due to schedule and keep an appointment. All physicals are held at Walker Recovery Center. Check with your counselor to make sure your physical is not past due from a previous month to avoid a possible dose reduction or loss of take homes.

Please disregard if you have recently had your physical!
